Club swim

The main club swim night sessions are held on Wednesday evenings between 8pm-9pm at both Corby International Pool and Market Harborough Leisure Centre:


  • Corby East Midlands International Swimming Pool, Parkland Gateway, George Street, Corby, Northants NN17 1QG.  

  • Market Harborough Leisure Centre, Northampton Road, Market Harborough, Leicestershire LE16 9HF. 


For both club swim sessions, please by-pass reception (tell them you are part of WVTri), and meet in the café areas at 7.45pm ready for the pre-session briefing. There is a small car parking charge at Corby, and a £1.00 (refundable) fee for swim lockers at both venues.

Track session

These popular sessions are held on Friday evenings between 6pm-7.30pm at:


  • Corby Athletics Club, Rockingham Triangle Stadium, Jimmy Kane Way, Rockingham Road, Corby NN17 2FB.  


There are no parking charges. Limited changing facilities are available. Flood lit for all-year-round sessions, shared with Corby Tri Club- juniors (if your child is training, come and join us!). 


Group bike rides (uncoached)

Most Sunday mornings a group of cyclists will head out between 9am-11.15am, lead by an experience club member. Meeting points will vary but rides usually commence from either Market Harborough or East Carlton Park alternatively. Ride routes are posted during the week on the members' only social Facebook page and are usually 15mph average, and 30 miles long with a coffee and cake stop at the end. (Multiple speed groups ride if there is sufficient demand).  We also offer a development bike ride that runs parallel to the main ride on a modified route, giving members the opportunity to gain more experience with riding in a group.

Seasonal/additional sessions

We also offer the following seasonal training sessions (check booking system for availability):

  • additional swim sessions Monday night at Corby Pool 9pm - 10pm.  Market Harborough Pool Tuesday 8pm - 9pm (all sessions uncoached and limited numbers.  Session plans provided).  These sessions can run throughout the whole year if there is sufficient demand

  • winter Zoom turbo sessions Tuesday

  • technical run sessions, including hill repeats/descents, pyramids, and pacing etc based in and around Market Harborough 

  • winter strength & conditioning Thursdays at MTHD Training, Desborough 7:15pm - 8:15pm 

  • specialist T1& T2 transition training sessions at the track

  • open water swim sessions* 

  • seminars on training plans, race day strategy and nutrition

  • trips to the Lido 50m pool at Peterborough

  • trips to Derby Velodrome*
